The Circle of Life - Copper and Honey Bee

This beautifully detailed wee honey bee swings over a 20mm circular solid piece of burnished copper. Copper provides a similar soft hue as Rose Gold, but without the huge expense. It will get a darker warmer patina over time, but can be polished back to brighter with a jewellery cloth or buffed with super fine sandpaper. It is strung on a lovely fine chain that can be worn at about 46cm and extended to about 52cm. Simple but so so stunning.

Each genuine half Penny is 25mm wide and buffed just enough to retain the natural aged patina, but to also highlight the gorgeous raised Tiki detail. This is a perfectly hand formed solid copper wire koru. A lovely wee size at approx 18mm across with a 25mm drop. Copper gives off a similar warm tone as Rose Gold without the expense! I have strung this on fine adjustable stainless steel chain. Stainless steel chain is robust and will not tarnish like sterling silver or plated chains.

This is a quirky combination of a Gothic Styled cross and an Art Nouveau connector created from solid brass and antique darkened to almost black. I think it looks striking in its mix of detail. The total drop of the two pieces is approx 5cm.
